The question of whether Everettian quantum mechanics (EQM) justifies the existence of metaphysical indeterminacy has recently come to the fore. Metaphysical indeterminacy has been argued to emerge from three sources: coherent superpositions, the indefinite number of branches in the quantum multiverse and the nature of these branches. This paper reviews the evidence and concludes that those arguments don't rely on EQM alone and rest on metaphysical auxiliary assumptions that transcend the physics of EQM. We show how EQM can be ontologically interpreted without positing metaphysical indeterminacy by adopting a deflationary attitude towards branches. Two ways of developing the deflationary view are then proposed: one where branches are eliminated, and another where they are reduced to the universal quantum state.

Wafer‐scale heteroepitaxial diamond thin films demonstrate multiple advantages for a further development of integrated optical and quantum devices based on impurity–vacancy color centers. The main obstacle here is a high structural defect density characteristic for heteroepitaxial epilayers. In this work, technological methods of stress control, NV formation, and defect density reduction in diamond epilayers, which are based on principles of epitaxial lateral overgrowth (ELO) are reported on. Herein, material and quantum properties of NV‐doped diamond thin films obtained by patterned nucleation growth and by ELO of microstructured epilayers, are compared. It is demonstrated that a combination of both methods might have a significant potential for the wafer‐scale production of heteroepitaxial diamond for quantum devices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study uses Raina's function to obtain a new coordinated p q -integral identity. Using this identity, we construct several new p q -Simpson's type inequalities for generalized convex functions on coordinates. Setting p 1 = p 2 = 1 in these inequalities yields well-known quantum Simpson's type inequalities for coordinated generalized convex functions. Quantum control allows us to address the problem of engineering quantum dynamics for special purposes. While recently the field of quantum batteries has attracted much attention, optimization of their charging has not benefited from the quantum control methods. Here we fill this gap by using an optimization method. We apply for the first time the convergent iterative method for the control of the population of a bipartite quantum system in two cases, starting with a qubit-qubit case. The quantum charger-battery system is considered here, where the energy is pumped into the charger by an external classical electromagnetic field. Secondly, we systematically extend our investigation to a second case involving two harmonic oscillators in the Gaussian regime, presenting an original formulation of the method. In both cases, the charger is considered to be an open dissipative system, as its interaction with the drive may require a more pronounced exposure to general interaction with environment. A key consideration in our optimization strategy is the practical concern of turning the charging external field on and off. We find that optimizing the pulse shape yields a substantial enhancement in both the power and efficiency of the charging process compared to a sinusoidal drive. The harmonic oscillator configuration of quantum batteries is particularly intriguing, as the optimal driving pulse remains effective regardless of the environmental temperature. Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is based on traditional cellular automata models in which each cell has one of the finite distinct states at any given time. Cellular automata refer to the use of Coulombic contact rather than wires to connect cells. The discrete character of cellular automata and quantum mechanics have been exploited to develop nano-scale devices that can conduct computations with high switching frequency and low power dissipation. QCA has been utilized in many categories for fault-tolerant and reversible logic computing. On the other hand, the morphology algorithm is an area of image processing that provides a unified methodology and strong tools for image/video processing applications. This work proposes a unique fault-tolerant approach based on QCA to execute the morphological operations in image processing. Two fault-tolerant 5-input majority gates are employed in the implemented QCA architecture, and a control line is used to accomplish dilation and erosion. To assess the capabilities of the proposed fault-tolerant circuit for morphological procedures, its performance is analyzed and confirmed. The promise of digital technology to greatly improve the efficiency of sorting and processing facilities of the future has not yet been fully realised. Improved sensor-based material flow characterization methods may pave the way for new sensor applications including adaptive plant management, increased sensor-based sorting, and more far-reaching data utilisations throughout the value chain. Using quantum remote sensors, this research proposes a novel deep learning model-based technique for evaluating healthcare data. In this scenario, healthcare data from quantum far-field sensors is collected and analysed using fuzzy K clustering-based kernel convolutional transfer Bayesian neural networks. Experimental evaluations of various detected signal data are analysed in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and root-mean-squared error. In addition, we demonstrate that the proposed approach has reasonable computation speeds, meeting the requirements of real-time node processing on smartphones and a wearable sensor platform. Recently, low-cost, low-power sensors have made wireless communication possible for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), which are growing in popularity and bringing about tremendous improvement. Nevertheless, their autonomy eventually wanes because WSN nodes run entirely on batteries. The network lifetime is affected by this energy constraint. Therefore, the proposed method uses Quantum-based Optical sensors with the CUCKOO-ANN method for Enhanced Energy-Efficient Wireless Communication to overcome the existing issues. Initially, the Quantum-based optical sensors helped collect the data from the location and were also used for energy-efficient communication. It transfers the data very quickly and securely without any interruption. Next, the CUCKOO-ANN method optimises the real-time data and provides efficiency. Therefore, it helps to find an optimal route between the user and the Base station. The concept that has been presented exhibits excellent potential as it can efficiently fulfil customer service level agreements, lower average execution times, and improve data centre energy efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed energy-efficient method minimises energy consumption, optimises data transmission, improves the network lifetime, and enhances the scalability of the network. The purpose of this work is to analyze how new technologies can enhance clinical practice while also examining the physical traits of emotional expressiveness of face expression in a number of psychiatric illnesses. Hence, in this work, an automatic facial expression recognition system has been proposed that analyzes static, sequential, or video facial images from medical healthcare data to detect emotions in people’s facial regions. The proposed method has been implemented in five steps. The first step is image preprocessing, where a facial region of interest has been segmented from the input image. The second component includes a classical deep feature representation and the quantum part that involves successive sets of quantum convolutional layers followed by random quantum variational circuits for feature learning. Here, the proposed system has attained a faster training approach using the proposed quantum convolutional neural network approach that takes $\mathbb {O}{(}\text {log}{(}{n}{)}{)}$ time. In contrast, the classical convolutional neural network models have $\mathbb {O}{(}{n}^{{2}}{)}$ time. Additionally, some performance improvement techniques, such as image augmentation, fine-tuning, matrix normalization, and transfer learning methods, have been applied to the recognition system. Finally, the scores due to classical and quantum deep learning models are fused to improve the performance of the proposed method. Extensive experimentation with Karolinska-directed emotional faces (KDEF), Static Facial Expressions in the Wild (SFEW 2.0), and Facial Expression Recognition 2013 (FER-2013) benchmark databases and compared with other state-of-the-art methods that show the improvement of the proposed system.

The open radio access network (ORAN) aims to improve network efficiency by reducing latency through the distributed unit (DU) and virtualization in the central unit (CU). However, the deployment of additional DU servers increases power usage and competition among virtual machines for user data processing. This study proposes a novel approach to address these challenges by incorporating load balancing strategies and quantum physics concepts, particularly entanglement theory in classical communication systems. The methodology enables the production of quantum information units from a single classical information unit, aiming to conserve energy. A simplified yet effective power consumption (PC) model for the ORAN architecture captures traffic fluctuations and provides a comprehensive characterization of power usage within a virtualized system. An optimization problem is formulated to select ORAN servers for quantum load balancing that are less energy-efficient, maximizing user benefits. The Lagrange multiplier method is used to deal with nonlinear objective functions. The presented problem is addressed through the use of two numerical methods, namely sequential quadratic programming (SQP) and the active-set approach. It is shown that the SQP model exhibits superior energy efficiency compared to the active-set model, with a difference of approximately 45%.

In this work, n-GCHM was used for the removal of Cu2+ and Co2+ from wastewater. The adsorbent material (n-GCHM) was characterised using SEM and TGA. The following optimum conditions were obtained: a contact time of 120 min and pH 5 for the removal of Cu2+ and Co2+. The maximum adsorption capacity of Cu2+ and Co2+ was 5.8343 mg/g using n-GCHM. The highest percentage removal of Cu2+ and Co2+ on n-GCHM at pH 5 was 80 and 80.5%, respectively. The experimental data successfully fitted to pseudo-second-order kinetic, and also fitted well to the Freundlich isotherm model. The process of adsorption was spontaneous and exothermic in nature. To obtain extensive information on the adsorption process of metal ions on the functional groups of adsorbents, the quantum adsorption mechanism was investigated using DFT. The molecular orbital approach has shown that the HOMO and LUMO were located on –NCN– and LUMO on –NCO–. The quantum adsorption mechanism has shown that the binding energies of Cu2+ and Co2+ on imine functional groups were −60,604.399 and −53649.06 eV, respectively. On the –NCO– functional group, the binding energy was −58587.608 and −51632.618 eV, respectively, for Cu2+ and Co2+. Quantum mechanical methods using the ANN approach have been demonstrated to be accurate. An alternative formulation of the no-boundary initial state of the universe in the Euclidean quantum theory of gravity is proposed. Unlike the no-boundary Hartle–Hawking wave function, in which time appears together with macroscopic space–time in the semiclassical approximation, in the proposed formalism, time is present from the very beginning on an equal footing with spatial coordinates. The main element of the formalism is the wave functional, which is defined based on the world histories of the universe. This ensures formal 4D covariance of the theory. The wave functional is defined independently of the wave function as an eigenvector of the action operator. The shape of the Origin region, together with the boundary conditions, is determined by the structure of the total energy of the universe, which includes a 3D-invariant contribution of the expansion energy. Symmetric derivatives and integrals are extensively studied to overcome the limitations of classical derivatives and integral operators. In the current investigation, we explore the quantum symmetric derivatives on finite intervals. We introduced the idea of right quantum symmetric derivatives and integral operators and studied various properties of both operators as well. Using these concepts, we deliver new variants of Young's inequality, Hölder's inequality, Minkowski's inequality, Hermite–Hadamard's inequality, Ostrowski's inequality, and Gruss–Chebysev inequality. We report the Hermite–Hadamard's inequalities by taking into account the differentiability of convex mappings. Fabrication techniques for nitrogen-vacancy centres in diamond require the creation of Frenkel defects (vacancy-interstitial pairs) the components of which can interact with formed NV centres affecting their photophysical properties. Here we use Density Functional Theory simulations of inter-defect electronic and strain interactions to explore how the NV centre and carbon self-interstitial interact in different configurations. We find that hybridization occurs between the NV centre e-orbitals and the carbon self-interstitial when an interstitial is present on the vacancy side of the NV centre. We propose that this phenomenon may explain the fluorescence blinking of NV centres observed during annealing. An intrusion detection method using rough-fuzzy set and parallel quantum genetic algorithm (RFS-QGAID) is proposed in this paper. The RFS-QGAID is applied to solve the serious problems of determining the optimal antibodies subsets used to detect an anomaly. To obtain a simplified antibodies collection for high dimensional Log data sets, RFS is applied to delete the redundant antibody features and obtain the optimal antibodies features combination. Then, the optimal attitudes are entered into the QGA classifier for learning and training in the following stage. At last, the detected Log antigens are fed into RFS-QGAID, and we can classify the intrusion types. With RFS-QGAID, we give the simulations, the results on real Log data sets show that: the higher detection accuracy of RFS-QGAID is higher detection accuracy, but the false negative rate is lower for small samples sets, the adaptive performance is higher than other detection algorithms. The current understanding of long COVID (LC) is still limited. This review highlights key findings regarding the role of gut microbiota, mitochondria, and the main pathophysiological aspects of LC revealed by clinical studies, related to the complex interplay between infection, intestinal dysbiosis, dysfunctional mitochondria, and systemic inflammation generated in a vicious circle, reflecting the molecular and cellular processes from the "leaky gut" to the "leaky electron transport chain (ETC)" into a quantum leap. The heterogeneity of LC has hindered progress in deciphering all the pathophysiological mechanisms, and therefore, the approach must be multidisciplinary, with a special focus not only on symptomatic management but also on addressing the underlying health problems of the patients. It is imperative to further assess and validate the effects of COVID-19 and LC on the gut microbiome and their relationship to infections with other viral agents or pathogens. Further studies are needed to better understand LC and expand the interdisciplinary points of view that are required to accurately diagnose and effectively treat this heterogeneous condition. Given the ability of SARS-CoV-2 to induce autoimmunity in susceptible patients, they should be monitored for symptoms of autoimmune disease after contracting the viral infection. One question remains open, namely, whether the various vaccines developed to end the pandemic will also induce autoimmunity. Recent data highlighted in this review have revealed that the persistence of SARS-CoV-2 and dysfunctional mitochondria in organs such as the heart and, to a lesser extent, the kidneys, liver, and lymph nodes, long after the organism has been able to clear the virus from the lungs, could be an explanation for LC. With a Nobel Prize for Physics widely viewed as only given for 'settled' science, the award then essentially accepts the validity of universal nonlocality. Other key discoveries and insights in recent years are also progressively pointing to the appearance of our Universe, its energy-matter and space-time, as not being foundational but emerging from deeper, discarnate realms of causation. as digitized and meaningful, in-formation, its manifestation pixelated at the so-named Planck scale of existence. Extending from studies of black holes to the entire Universe, a growing number of cosmologists have also developed the so-named holographic principle, to model the four-dimensional appearance of our Universe (three dimensions of space and one of time) as a holographic projection of its two- dimensional boundary. In framing the emergent cosmology of a nonlocally unified, meaningfully in-formed and holographically manifested Universe, an expansion of the three universal Laws of Thermodynamics to three Laws of Information, or Infodynamics also points the way to reconciling Quantum Theory that describes energy-matter and Relativity Theory that describes space-time and offers too an understanding of how the lifecycle of our Universe flows from its first moment until its last. Treating gravity as an emergent consequence of the in-formational and holographic structure of space- time and describing it as the consequence of the intropy associated with the positions in space-time of massive bodies, also points to the findings of the loss of phenotype identity in zero gravity and the role between gravity and cellular identity and the emergence of symbiogenesis. Entanglement can be generated through the gravitational interaction between two massive bodies that are initially in a product state. This shows that the gravitational field is quantum. When the third massive body is introduced and the gravitational interaction only between the third body with either one of the former two bodies is considered, we find that no entanglement is generated between the former two bodies up to the monopole approximation, even though the considered gravitational interaction is quantum. This resembles the behavior of two accelerating two-level atoms that is usually regarded as the Unruh–DeWitt detectors. By linking the acceleration to that generated by the gravitational field, we show that the equivalence principle is still valid even though the gravitational field is quantum.

Tom Stoppard is an outstanding playwright, embellishing his plays with scientific and philosophical approaches and presenting complicated, mysterious plots to the reader. He bases the plot of his postmodern play, Hapgood (1988), on quantum theory and draws an analogy between Werner Heisenberg’s principle of indeterminism, termed “The Uncertainty Principle”, and international espionage. Thus, he constructs the complicated relationship between the particle and the whole throughout the play to depict the relativistic and deceptive relationship between sex and gender. Focusing on the title character of the play, the present study proposes that the play represents the fluid and indeterminate nature of gender and identity within the context of espionage and indeterminism. Hapgood, who is a mother, a lover and a successful master agent in a man-dominated British secret service, navigates between “masculinity” and “femininity” during a day. Moreover, she metamorphoses into her twin, who is entirely different from her, except for their identical faces, to entrap the mole in the office. The study consults Judith Butler’s theory of gender performativity and fluidity to indicate the unpredictable and uncertain nature of ‘gender identity’, which formulates itself through performances in social relations and trespasses the heterosexual matrix. It juxtaposes the Butlerian approach with the Uncertainty Principle in quantum theory pertaining to the confusing relationship between gender, the body and identity. The Butlerian analysis of the play reveals that particularly the modern way of life makes women transgress the Cartesian dichotomies of sex/gender, masculine/feminine and man/woman through the fluidity of their roles even during a single day and makes it difficult to find out who is really who.

Abstract This study aimed to examine the effect of quantum management skills on readiness for change with the mediating role of organizational agility. The current study was done by descriptive correlatiove research method. The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of Zahedan Islamic Azad University (n=294). Using the Cochran formula, the sample size of 200 people was calculated and the applied sampling method was simple random. Azimi sanavi and Razavi Quantum Management Questionnaire (2011)was used for data collection; Sharifi & Young (2000) for Organizational Agility; and Dunham et al, (1989) for Readiness for Change questionnaire. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed. The reliability of the questionnaires was estimated based on Cronbach's coefficient as 0.881, 0.887, and 0.753, respectively. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed at two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics, including Pearson's correlation coefficient test and structural equation modeling through Spss23 and Lisrel8.8 software. The findings obtained from the structural equation model showed that the standard coefficient between quantum management on readiness for change (0.19), quantum management on organizational agility (0.58), as well as readiness for change and organizational agility (0.64) and the indirect effect of quantum management on change readiness (0.47) were significant. The thinkers of management science believe that managers in the 21st century should use new management methods to increase the capacity of employees. One of these types of management is quantum management. Quantum management is the empowerment of employees and is also an approach to improve the capabilities, powers, and effectiveness of managers and especially employees. Therefore, quantum management aims to increase the effectiveness and power of managers and employees of the organization. The concept of quantum management is an approach to improve the capabilities, powers, and effectiveness of managers and especially employees in the organization and to increase the effectiveness of managers and employees to prepare for organizational change and agility. The university is one of the most important fundamental elements for any change, transformation, and innovation; therefore, the realization of high goals, independence, and social and economic progress is provided through higher education. As a result, universities must be aware of new management features to have the necessary power to respond to changes. Theoretical Framework Quantum management was created based on the quantum paradigm in response to uncertainty in phenomena and the unpredictability of their behavior and environmental complexities, extensive and mutual interactions, and rapid and continuous changes that twenty-first-century organizations face with. Understanding quantum management creates a new perspective for understanding and managing today's organizations with the aforementioned characteristics. Quantum theory completely contradicts traditional management beliefs. This theory states that not only is the world unpredictable, but also there is not enough information to understand the current state. Readiness for change is the employees' positive views and opinions about the need for change and the positive consequences of change-related efforts for the employees and the organization (Peach et al., 2005). Readiness for change refers to the beliefs, attitudes, and conscious intentions of organizational members regarding the needed changes and the organizational capacity to successfully implement these changes. The dimensions of readiness for change in the organization are 1. Newness tolerance: it refers to the tolerance of the organization's members towards new and unexpected conditions. 2. Complexity tolerance: it refers to little, irrelevant, complex, unorganized, and sometimes conflicting or contradictory information in the organization. 3. Difficult situations tolerance: refers to the tolerance of organization members for situations with unsolvable problems in which answers are not easily obtained. Agility was introduced to the world by Yakoka Research Institute in 1991 as a strategy for organizations in the 21st century to quickly adapt to changes. Organizational agility is the ability to quickly respond to changes in the environment. Organizational agility is an organizational capability that managers of educational organizations should take it seriously to achieve organizational goals. Organizational agility has also the components of innovation, responsibility, speed in work, low complexity, high quality, flexibility, and readiness to react to changes, and is also very resistant to environmental problems and challenges. Research Methodology This research is applicable in terms of purpose, and descriptive correlative of structural equation modeling in terms of method. The statistical population includes all the employees of Zahedan Azad University, including 294 people (124 women and 170 men). Morgan's Table was used to determine the sample size, and 165 people were selected by simple random sampling. Three questionnaires were used to collect information. Quantum Management Skill Questionnaire: Azimi Sanavi and Razavi's Quantum Management Skill Questionnaire (Azimi Sanavi & Razavi, 2014) were used in seven dimensions; Quantum thinking, quantum trust, quantum action, quantum vision, quantum feeling, quantum knowledge and quantum existence; and 34 items to measure quantum management skills. This questionnaire was based on a Likert scale (from never to completely agree). Organizational Agility Questionnaire: Sharifi and Yang's Organizational Agility Questionnaire (Sharifi Yang, 2000) has been used in four dimensions of speed, competence, flexibility, and responsiveness; and 28 items with 5 options of the Likert type (from never to completely agree) to measure organizational agility Readiness for Change Questionnaire: Dunham et al's Readiness for Change Questionnaire (1989) was used in three dimensions of cognition towards change, emotional reaction to change, and behavioral tendency to change; and in 18 items to measure readiness for change. The questionnaire's validity of the current research is of the content type that was confirmed by the supervisor and the expert professors of educational management at Zahedan universities. To estimate the reliability coefficient of the questionnaires used in this research, 30 copies were first given to the subjects. According to Cronbach's alpha, its results were obtained 0.881 for the quantum management skill questionnaire, 0.811 for the organizational agility questionnaire, and 0.753 for the readiness for change questionnaire. These reliability coefficient values indicate the relatively good reliability of these questionnaires. In addition, Pearson's correlation coefficient and structural equation model were used to analyze the data. Calculations were carried out by spss23 and Lisrel8.8 software. Results According to correlation analysis, the relationship between quantum management and organizational agility (0.329), quantum management and readiness for change (0.826), and organizational agility and readiness for change (0.326) are positive and significant at the level of 0.01. The fit indices of the model were first calculated to examine the research model. The values of the model fit indices have a good fit. In addition, the data analysis showed that the significant numbers (t) between quantum management and readiness for change are 6.37, quantum management and organizational agility are 5.07, and readiness for change and organizational agility are 3.30. Since these values are greater than 1.96, the impact of quantum management and readiness for change, quantum management and organizational agility, and readiness for change and organizational agility are significant. In the corresponding figure, the standard coefficient between quantum management and readiness for change is 0.19, quantum management and organizational agility is 0.58, and readiness for change and organizational agility is 0.64. In addition, the indirect effect of quantum management on readiness for change (0.47) is significant. Since this effect impacts readiness for change through organizational agility, the mediating role of this variable in relation to quantum management on readiness for change is confirmed. Discussion and conclusion This research was carried out to investigate the effect of quantum management skills on readiness for change with the mediating role of organizational agility of Zahedan Islamic Azad University employees. Quantum skills in management try to use the laws, concepts, and principles of quantum theory in the form of metaphor and guidance to solve management problems and describe and explain organizational phenomena. The environment of today's organizations, especially higher education, values agility, innovation, change, vitality, and quality to succeed and increase employee productivity, which are all signs of quantum management. Therefore, having senior management with the necessary knowledge and skills, effective planning, leadership, and quantum culture is necessary to transfer from classical management to successful quantum management in the organization. The research findings regarding the first research hypothesis showed that the components of quantum management directly and significantly affect the readiness for change employees (0.19). The research findings regarding the second research hypothesis showed that quantum management components directly and significantly affect organizational agility (0.53). The research findings regarding the third research hypothesis showed that readiness for change directly and significantly affects organizational agility (0.64). Finally, the results obtained from the fourth research hypothesis showed that quantum management indirectly and significantly affects (0.47) readiness for change. According to the findings, the following suggestions are made to improve organizational agility, strengthen quantum management skills, and provide a context for change in university employees. University managers should not be afraid and have a high tolerance for ambiguity to change purposefully to be innovative and face unknown phenomena. University managers can increase employees’ adaptability to changes by creating an atmosphere of optimism and risk-taking among them, which will lead to the acceptance of change and transformation. Managers should also make the most of their knowledge capital and learning ability by using quantum management skills and applying a new and innovative scientific approach in organizations and pave the way to achieve agility by emphasizing efficient and effective policies and programs. According to the changes and developments that have been created in organizational management, faculty members should always be encouraged to learn new and updated skills to achieve an appropriate level of hardware and software technologies in the university. In this regard, they can use new and diverse methods to provide educational and research services with the necessary quality to increase satisfaction and agility. University managers can use innovative and new methods based on the ability of the employees to deal with the turbulent organizational environment and solve problems. The research limitation is limiting the statistical community of the research to the employees of Zahedan Azad University and the inability to generalize the results to other universities.

Schistosomiasis remains one of the severe ailments that affect both man and woman in South Africa. It is caused by blood fluke, and the rate at which it causes death is alarming in some areas of America, Asia as well as in African countries. It is a neglected tropical disease (NTD) with grave impact on social and economic situation of countries with low sanitation awareness. Thus, the search for lasting solution to this menace, has drawn the attention of many global researchers using phytochemicals from Scilla natalensis via in silico approach. The studied compounds were optimized using Spartan 14. Docking study was executed via Pymol, Autodock tool, Auto dock vina and discovery studio. Compound 9 with –8.2 kcal mol–1 and –9.4 kcal mol–1 as binding affinity proved to possess highest ability to inhibit glutathione S-transferase and thioredoxin-glutathione reductase than other compounds. Also, ADMET properties for compound 9 and praziquantel were explored and reported. Our findings may open the door for the design of novel drug-like molecules with better efficiency.

In recent years, the attention of scientists has been drawn to laser accelerators because they have a smaller size and more power than RT accelerators. But to upgrade these laser accelerators for hadron therapy, the theory governing these accelerators needs more investigation. The present paper represents the theory of laser-driven accelerators. Also, for the first time, we calculated the quantum relativistic important parameters such as the effective atomic number, z_eff, β=v⁄c , parameter, the density effect, δ⁄2, the shell effect,〖∆L〗_shell, Barkas effect, L_Barkas , Lynard Sorensen, effect, 〖∆L〗_LS, the standard perturbation function, L_stand, the first order general term of quantum perturbation theory, L_Pert, for proton and carbon beams in different energies versus the depth of penetration in the different human tissues using Maple programming, and our numerical results show that since the physical and chemical properties of carbon and hydrogen ions are not the same and carbon is heavier than hydrogen, carbon and hydrogen ion beams in hadron therapy do not have the same behavior inside the different human tissues.

The term Quale Mechanics is proposed here as describing the qualitative aspects of Quantum Mechanics that are susceptible of metaphysical considerations. The aim of Quale Mechanics is to distill the quantum discourse to its pillars in order to construct its proper – philosophical in nature – quale discourse. The framework of the discussion is initiated by revisiting the platonic approach of the manner in which knowledge is perceived/processed, and then by discussing the four sapiential stages before arriving at concept of the eide. The sensible-suprasensible dichotomy is exposed by contrasting aistheta to the eide. A discussion on the historical development and the foundation of the pillars of Quantum Mechanics is followed. This includes Planck’s solution for the black-body radiation problem with the introduction of quanta – in conflict with Newtonian physics – followed by Einstein’s explanation of the photoelectric effect and the implications involving the dual nature of light (particle vs. wave) and two generalizations of the quantum character of matter: the planetary model of the atom by Bohr, and the dual particle-wave character of electron demonstrated by de Broglie. The subsequent distillation of these semi-classical concepts into more abstract mathematical concepts by Heisenberg, Born, Dirac and Pauli are then reviewed – with Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle and with the concept of wavefunction as landmarks that unmistakably departs from the classical deterministic view of matter. A representative illustration of these achievements is given by the Casimir effect – with implications for gravity and an illustration of how vacuum can in fact not be considered to be truly void. Quantum Mechanics, as the most accurate mathematical framework which can be employed in order to describe and predict the natural phenomena occurring at the atom-size dimensions of reality, may thus be considered as the root from which the concept of Quale Mechanics is emerged in order to construct the parallel between the metaphysical existence and the quantum physical wavefunction collapse. It is concluded that, within its underlying, Quantum Mechanics is a (hopefully fruitful) reiteration of the Ancient Greek Weltanschauung.

The objective of this paper is to explore novel unified continuous and discrete versions of the Trapezium-Jensen-Mercer (TJM) inequality, incorporating the concept of convex mapping within the framework of $ {\mathfrak{q}} $-calculus, and utilizing majorized tuples as a tool. To accomplish this goal, we establish two fundamental lemmas that utilize the $ _{{\varsigma_{1}}}{\mathfrak{q}} $ and $ ^{{{\varsigma_{2}}}}{\mathfrak{q}} $ differentiability of mappings, which are critical in obtaining new left and right side estimations of the midpoint $ {\mathfrak{q}} $-TJM inequality in conjunction with convex mappings. Our findings are significant in a way that they unify and improve upon existing results. We provide evidence of the validity and comprehensibility of our outcomes by presenting various applications to means, numerical examples, and graphical illustrations.

In this paper, I would like to outline what I think is the most natural interpretation of quantum mechanics. By natural, I simply mean that it requires the least amount of excess baggage and that it is universal in the sense that it can be consistently applied to all the observed phenomena, including the universe as a whole. I call it the “Everything is a Quantum Wave” Interpretation (EQWI) because I think this is a more appropriate name than the Many Worlds Interpretation (MWI). The paper explains why this is so.

A significant part of the research on the problems of quantization of random variables is devoted to practical aspects of optimal quantization in the sense of filling in information. For these purposes, certain quantitative characteristics of quantized random variables are used, such as: mathematical expectation, variance and mean square deviation. At the same time, to determine the quantitative characteristics of quantized random variables, as a rule, well-known parametric distributions are used: uniform, exponential, normal and others. In real situations, it is not possible to identify the initial parametric distribution based on the available statistical information. In this paper, a nonparametric model is proposed for determining such numerical characteristics of a quantized random variable as the highest initial moments. The mathematical formalization of the problem of estimating the higher initial moments of a quantized random variable in the conditions of incomplete data represented by small samples of a quantized random variable is performed in the form of an optimization model of a certain integral of a piecewise continuous function satisfying certain conditions. The final estimates of the highest initial moments of the quantized random variable are found as extreme (lower and upper) estimates of a certain integral on a set of distribution functions with given moments equal to the sample moments of the quantized random variable. A model of the higher initial moments of a quantized random variable is presented in the form of a definite integral of a piecewise continuous function; in the general case, the problem of finding extreme (lower and upper) estimates of the higher initial moments of a quantized random variable on a set of distribution functions with given moments is solved. Examples of finding higher initial moments and optimal quantization of a random variable are given. The obtained results can be used by specialists in evaluating and optimizing the quantization of various information presented by random signals.

This study uses Raina’s function to obtain a new coordinated pq-integral identity. Using this identity, we construct several new pq-Simpson’s type inequalities for generalized convex functions on coordinates. Setting p1=p2=1 in these inequalities yields well-known quantum Simpson’s type inequalities for coordinated generalized convex functions. Our results have important implications for the creation of post quantum mathematical frameworks.

A rapidly developing high-amplitude shear deformation anomaly in the upper crustal interval (at depths of up to 10 km), the so-called "intense deformation quantum," with a maximum increase in deformation by two orders of magnitude within half a month, has been identified within a geomechanical model of Southern California by detailed analysis of the local stress–strain features. These "quanta" can be integral elements of the entire deep deformation process associated with seismicity. In the Bertrand–Edgeworth duopoly game, two players compete in price to capture the market demand of a uniform product. The game is studied from a general perspective, so that players with different production costs and capacity constraints as well as the two more important rules dealing with unsatisfied demand (proportional and efficient) are taken into consideration. A quantization scheme is applied to the game with the aim of improving the results compared to the classic game. The quantum Bertrand–Edgeworth duopoly game is studied in this work via spatial numerical simulation, supporting the results analytically when it is possible. In this context, it is found that high entanglement induces a Pareto optimal solution ruled by the lower capacity of the players. The way in which the players' entanglement acts in the game is examined through simulation, paying special attention to the critical value of entanglement from which the Pareto optimal solution emerges. Several quantum mechanical problems are studied all of which can be approached using algebraic means. The first problem introduces a large class of Hamiltonian operators which can be related to elements of su(2) or su(1, 1) Lie algebras. A Casimir operator can be obtained and the model can be solved in general by introducing an appropriate basis. The second system involves a collection of lattice spin Hamiltonian models. It is shown how a matrix representation can be determined for these types of models with respect to a specific basis. Using these matrices secular polynomials as functions of the energy eigenvalues and their corresponding eigenvectors are calculated. The last system is similar to the first, but is suited to a particular application The eigenvectors of the model are used used to calculate the Berry phase for these states. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Complex systems, as interwoven miscellaneous interacting entities that emerge and evolve through self-organization in a myriad of spiraling contexts, exhibit subtleties on global scale besides steering the way to understand complexity which has been under evolutionary processes with unfolding cumulative nature wherein order is viewed as the unifying framework. Indicating the striking feature of non-separability in components, a complex system cannot be understood in terms of the individual isolated constituents' properties per se, it can rather be comprehended as a way to multilevel approach systems behavior with systems whose emergent behavior and pattern transcend the characteristics of ubiquitous units composing the system itself. This observation specifies a change of scientific paradigm, presenting that a reductionist perspective does not by any means imply a constructionist view; and in that vein, complex systems science, associated with multiscale problems, is regarded as ascendancy of emergence over reductionism and level of mechanistic insight evolving into complex system. While evolvability being related to the species and humans owing their existence to their ancestors' capability with regards to adapting, emerging and evolving besides the relation between complexity of models, designs, visualization and optimality, a horizon that can take into account the subtleties making their own means of solutions applicable is to be entailed by complexity. Such views attach their germane importance to the future science of complexity which may probably be best regarded as a minimal history congruent with observable variations, namely the most parallelizable or symmetric process which can turn random inputs into regular outputs. Interestingly enough, chaos and nonlinear systems come into this picture as cousins of complexity which with tons of its components are involved in a hectic interaction with one another in a nonlinear fashion amongst the other related systems and fields. Relation, in mathematics, is a way of connecting two or more things, which is to say numbers, sets or other mathematical objects, and it is a relation that describes the way the things are interrelated to facilitate making sense of complex mathematical systems. Accordingly, mathematical modeling and scientific computing are proven principal tools toward the solution of problems arising in complex systems' exploration with sound, stimulating and innovative aspects attributed to data science as a tailored-made discipline to enable making sense out of voluminous (-big) data. Regarding the computation of the complexity of any mathematical model, conducting the analyses over the run time is related to the sort of data determined and employed along with the methods. This enables the possibility of examining the data applied in the study, which is dependent on the capacity of the computer at work. Besides these, varying capacities of the computers have impact on the results; nevertheless, the application of the method on the code step by step must be taken into consideration. In this sense, the definition of complexity evaluated over different data lends a broader applicability range with more realism and convenience since the process is dependent on concrete mathematical foundations. All of these indicate that the methods need to be investigated based on their mathematical foundation together with the methods. In that way, it can become foreseeable what level of complexity will emerge for any data desired to be employed. With relation to fractals, fractal theory and analysis are geared toward assessing the fractal characteristics of data, several methods being at stake to assign fractal dimensions to the datasets, and within that perspective, fractal analysis provides expansion of knowledge regarding the functions and structures of complex systems while acting as a potential means to evaluate the novel areas of research and to capture the roughness of objects, their nonlinearity, randomness, and so on. The idea of fractional-order integration and differentiation as well as the inverse relationship between them lends fractional calculus applications in various fields spanning across science, medicine and engineering, amongst the others. The approach of fractional calculus, within mathematics-informed frameworks employed to enable reliable comprehension into complex processes which encompass an array of temporal and spatial scales notably provides the novel applicable models through fractional-order calculus to optimization methods. Computational science and modeling, notwithstanding, are oriented toward the simulation and investigation of complex systems through the use of computers by making use of domains ranging from mathematics to physics as well as computer science. A computational model consisting of numerous variables that characterize the system under consideration allows the performing of many simulated experiments via computerized means. Furthermore, Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques whether combined or not with fractal, fractional analysis as well as mathematical models have enabled various applications including the prediction of mechanisms ranging extensively from living organisms to other interactions across incredible spectra besides providing solutions to real-world complex problems both on local and global scale. While enabling model accuracy maximization, AI can also ensure the minimization of functions such as computational burden. Relatedly, level of complexity, often employed in computer science for decision-making and problem-solving processes, aims to evaluate the difficulty of algorithms, and by so doing, it helps to determine the number of required resources and time for task completion. Computational (-algorithmic) complexity, referring to the measure of the amount of computing resources (memory and storage) which a specific algorithm consumes when it is run, essentially signifies the complexity of an algorithm, yielding an approximate sense of the volume of computing resources and seeking to prove the input data with different values and sizes. Computational complexity, with search algorithms and solution landscapes, eventually points toward reductions vis à vis universality to explore varying degrees of problems with different ranges of predictability. Taken together, this line of sophisticated and computer-assisted proof approach can fulfill the requirements of accuracy, interpretability, predictability and reliance on mathematical sciences with the assistance of AI and machine learning being at the plinth of and at the intersection with different domains among many other related points in line with the concurrent technical analyses, computing processes, computational foundations and mathematical modeling. Consequently, as distinctive from the other ones, our special issue series provides a novel direction for stimulating, refreshing and innovative interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary understanding and research in model-based, data-driven modes to be able to obtain feasible accurate solutions, designed simulations, optimization processes, among many more. Hence, we address the theoretical reflections on how all these processes are modeled, merging all together the advanced methods, mathematical analyses, computational technologies, quantum means elaborating and exhibiting the implications of applicable approaches in real-world systems and other related domains. The Quantum cell expansion system manufactured by Terumo-BCT is perhaps the most widely reported Good Manufacturing Practice–compliant bioreactor used for the expansion of adherent cell populations, both for research purposes and clinical cell–based therapies/trials. Although the system was originally designed for adherent cell expansion, more recently suspension cultures and extracellular vesicle manufacturing protocols have been published using the Quantum system. Cell therapy research and regenerative medicine in general is a rapidly expanding field and as such it is likely that the use of this system will become even more widespread and perhaps mandatory, for both research and development and in the clinic. The purpose of this review is to describe, compare and discuss the diverse range of research and clinical applications currently using the Quantum system, which to our knowledge has not previously been reviewed. The Dunkl Laplacian is used to define the Hamiltonian of a modified quantum harmonic oscillator, associated with any finite reflection group. The potential is a sum of the inverse squares of the linear functions whose zero sets are the mirrors of the group's reflections. The symmetric group version of this is known as the Calogero-Moser model of N identical particles on a line. This paper focuses on the group of symmetries of the regular icosahedron, associated to the root system of type H3. Special wavefunctions are defined by a generating function arising from the vertices of the icosahedron and have the key property of allowing easy calculation of the effect of the Dunkl Laplacian. The ground state is the product of a Gaussian function with powers of linear functions coming from the root system. Two types of wavefunctions are considered, inhomogeneous polynomials with specified top-degree part, and homogeneous harmonic polynomials. The squared norms for both types are explicitly calculated. Symmetrization is applied to produce the invariant polynomials of both types, as well as their squared norms. The action of the angular momentum square on the harmonic homogeneous polynomials is determined. There is also a sixth-order operator commuting with the Hamiltonian and the group action.
